Who this policy is for
Bedtime Saga is a paid service used by adults to play personalized audio stories for kids in their household. The account-holder is always the parent or guardian. Kids do not have their own account.
Data we collect from you
- Your name and email address (provided at sign-up).
- Your subscription plan and payment status (via Stripe; we never see your card number).
- Audit-quality logs of operator actions on your account.
Data we collect about your kid
- First name.
- Age band (3-5 / 6-8 / 9-12).
- One sentence you wrote about something they love. Used to seed personalization.
- The story arcs and chapters you generate for them, and your ratings + notes on each chapter.
We do not collect: surname, full date of birth, photos, location data, school, contact info, or anything else not listed above.
Third parties
- Stripeprocesses payments. They see your card number; we don’t.
- Google Cloud hosts our database and audio files.
- OpenRouter + Vertex AI generate chapter text and audio. The prompts we send them include the kid’s first name and the one- sentence personalization seed. They do not see your real name, email, or any other account information.
- Resend delivers sign-in emails.
We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not run any ad-tracking pixels. We do not sell the data.
Deletion
You can delete your account and everything in it from /account/preferences. Hard-delete from the database happens within 24 hours; encrypted backups age out within 30 days. We do not retain any data about your kid after the account is deleted.
